Is there a free email (i.e. gmail, hotmail, yahoo) that supports the sending of html emails?

Yahoo does, but there are some exceptions with this





I need to be able to send large amounts of emails to clients on a mailing list. I need it to be free. I am already aware of the paid alternatives.

If you are sending a large number of mails, you probably need to send them in personalised way like newsletters or so. If so, is the case, you can use thunderbird with any mail providers like gmail, google apps, yahoo, or anything which has pop access or imap access.

If you want to design very professional and cool mails, probably I should recommend you Incredimail which has a greater options and huge set of templates to suit the subject of your mail. You should give it a try as you would be probably impressed with that.
