Apart from Yahoo, Hotmail & Gmail, what alternative free web based email facilities exist?

I’m really fed up with Yahoo mail. For more than a week now I’m not able to respond to emails. Every time I press send I either get “page cannot be displayed” or “error 999”. I can only respond by initiating a completely new email and even that doesn’t work if I copy and paste the original email text (to which I would like to respond) into the new email.

I’m also annoyed with Yahoo because there is no setting where only people in your contact list can send you email. My spam problem would be sorted completely by simply applying such a setting. As much as I despise Hotmail, at least they have that facility.
Apart from Yahoo, Hotmail %26amp; Gmail, what alternative free web based email facilities exist?
How about Inbox: "Inbox.com not only gives you 5 GB to store your mail online but also a highly polished, fast and functional way to access it via either the web (including speedy search, free-form labels and reading mail by conversation) or through POP in your email program.

Unfortunately, IMAP access is not supported by Inbox.com, and its tools for organizing mail could be improved with smart or self-teaching folders".
Reply:There is windows outlook express, but don't know if there's much advantage to using it, and I find it difficult to set up or configure. I think you could probably find out how to do it on "wiki how to" the on line free encyclopedia.

You could do a search for http://incredimail.
Reply:Funny you should say that.

I would be interested in the answer to this one.
